The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith takes a swing at Fjellman's ribcage but misses.
Nice uppercut lands for Smith. That snapped Fjellman's head back.
Smith throws out a leg kick but Fjellman moves out of range and Smith only half commits.
Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Fjellman gets back to full guard.
Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fjellman on the ground.
Fjellman controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself.
Smith is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Smith is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fjellman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Smith is looking to defend but Fjellman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Smith! Fjellman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Smith taps out and this one is all over!
