Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Andrea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Assis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assis has chosen Lado A Lado B by Rappa as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorge Assis!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assis avoids the head kick by Andrea.
A lazy left from Andrea finds it's target.

It looks like Jorge Assis has been cut.

Andrea closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Assis did well to prevent Andrea getting side control.
Andrea throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Andrea sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Assis defending well though.
Andrea not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Andrea lands with a punch from half guard.
Andrea seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Assis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Assis is looking to improve his position.
Andrea throwing shots but Assis is blocking nicely.
Assis wants to get back to full guard.
Andrea is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Assis reverses the position - he's now on top in Andrea's guard.

Assis tries to free his leg and advance position but Andrea is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andrea is controlling Assis's posture.
Assis wants to control from the top but Andrea keeps moving.
Assis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Andrea throws a leg kick but Assis sees it coming and moves out of range.
Assis takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Assis throws a leg kick but Andrea sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Andrea closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Andrea is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Assis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Andrea.

Assis looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Assis wants to control but Andrea is keeping busy.
Andrea not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Andrea wants to pass the guard but Assis is defending well.

Andrea is trying to control the action in half guard but Assis is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Andrea misses with a head shot. Assis uses the momentum to regain guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Assis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Andrea.
Assis motions for Andrea to come forward. Assis throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Andrea lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Assis blocks a head kick by Andrea.
Andrea fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Assis manages to avoid it.
Andrea misses with an uppercut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Andrea will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Assis lands a big head kick that sends Andrea tumbling to the mat! Assis takes a step backwards and waves Andrea back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Andrea is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Assis engages and cracks Andrea with a massive lead left hook - Andrea tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Assis is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
