The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues misses with a body kick.
Keirrson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Rodrigues is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rodrigues has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Keirrson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Keirrson needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rodrigues has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Keirrson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Keirrson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rodrigues throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

I would just about give that final round to Fabio Rodrigues.
