Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pooby Phants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herbie Fleck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phants comes into the arena with Voodoo Chile blaring out of the sound system. Fleck has chosen Trivium - Down From The Sky as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Pooby Phants has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Phants lands but Fleck takes it in his stride.

It looks like Herbie Fleck has been cut.
Phants misses with the combination.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Fleck.
Phants is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fleck has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Fleck stands up and beckons Phants to his feet.
Fleck doesn't manage to clinch there - Phants circles away.
Fleck cracks Phants with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Pooby Phants has been cut.
Pooby Phants is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Phants takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Phants swats away the attempt to clinch by Fleck.
Fleck dodges the punch combination from Phants.

Phants throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fleck.
Fleck is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Phants.
Phants lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fleck circles away quickly and effectively.
Phants misses with a jab, cross combination.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fleck closes the distance and pushes Phants back into the cage.
Phants swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Fleck pushes off an throws an elbow but Phants leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Phants throws a punch but it's blocked by Fleck.

Fleck lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Phants.
Phants is breathing heavily.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Fleck.
With the fighters up against the cage, Fleck throws an elbow but misses.
Phants can't find room to land a body shot as Fleck controls the action.
Fleck lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Phants or not.
Fleck pushes Phants back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Fleck works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Fleck scores with a nice hook to the head.

Fleck lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Phants or not.
Fleck gets through Phants's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Phants is rocked!

Oh Phants is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fleck dips a shoulder and cracks Phants with a mighty uppercut! Phants falls back against the cage and Fleck unloads with a barrage of strikes! Phants is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Fleck screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
