Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Scream - Avenged Sevenfold. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as West sprawls well. West wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet.
West defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson.
West throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Johnson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like John Johnson has been cut.

Johnson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for West!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
West is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
West is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Johnson is staying active.
West might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Johnson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

West sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
West pushes Johnson off looking to stand but Johnson dives back in and keeps control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Bill West just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
West connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

West has Johnson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. West pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Johnson tumbling to the mat - West dives into Johnson's guard.

West postures up and lands a big shot to Johnson's brow.

West is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Johnson can't fight it off and eventually West manages to take the fight to the floor. Johnson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
West is in close to Johnson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
West stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
