Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Igor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vladimir Jokinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Igor Igor!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Igor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jokinen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Igor but Igor pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jokinen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Igor is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Igor is looking to break free of the clinch but Jokinen has double underhooks.

Jokinen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Igor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jokinen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jokinen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jokinen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Igor manages to escape and get back to his feet!

I would just about give that final round to Igor Igor.
I think Jokinen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
