The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang shoots in and drives through. Brennerd sprawls well.
Brennerd is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bang darts in and clinches Brennerd up against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Brennerd obliges.
Bang drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brennerd pinned against the cage. Brennerd gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mr bang Bang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bang shoots for a double leg takedown but Brennerd sprawls well. He's pushed Bang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bang looks to clinch
and Brennerd counters with a nice right hand that sends Bang toppling to the canvas! Bang scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Brennerd finish him?!
It looks like Mr bang Bang has been cut.
Brennerd tries to clinch but Bang is having none of it.
Brennerd slaps away a takedown attempt from Bang, before circling back to the center of the mat.
