Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between james blonde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bloodyhands Loco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

blonde moves into range and clinches up with Loco.
Loco looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Loco wants to break the clinch but can't.
blonde wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Loco escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
blonde looks for a takedown but Loco sprawls well.

blonde shoots in and bounces Loco off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
blonde keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Loco's head.
Loco wants to sweep here but blonde controlling him for the moment.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Loco can do anything to dispel that myth.
Loco wants to get back to his feet but blonde passes into half guard.

blonde stands up and beckons Loco to join him on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
blonde takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Loco really wants to buck blonde off and get back to his feet.
blonde could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
blonde fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Loco swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Loco bucks up and throws blonde to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

blonde prevents Loco from standing back up.
Loco has hold of blonde's hands but blonde slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
blonde looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
blonde is keen to just control but Loco is a slippery customer.

blonde decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

blonde looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Loco!

Loco's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Loco is squirming around, avoiding blonde's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Loco is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! blonde has taken his back!

blonde is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Loco has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but blonde has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Loco taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. blonde doesn't care though - he's delighted!
