The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sherk throws a series of punches but Diaz avoids them all with ease.
Diaz misses with a few strikes there.
Some wild striking there from sherk.

sherk shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Diaz tries to roll over but sherk keeps him under control.
Diaz moves into full guard.
sherk wanted to stand there but Diaz had control of the position.
