Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kid Comeback (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Kokucka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kid Comeback has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kid Comeback!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Kokucka!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kokucka drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Kokucka loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Kokucka drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Comeback dives on top into guard.

Kokucka is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Comeback defends it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Comeback tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kokucka paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The ground and pound from Comeback seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kokucka is refusing to be controlled, as Comeback sits in half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Comeback is really struggling to control Kokucka but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Kokucka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Comeback has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kokucka has managed to get both his arms back between Comeback's legs - danger averted.
Comeback bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kokucka's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kokucka holds on and takes a little breather.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Comeback fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kokucka, pushing him back against the cage.

Kokucka shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Comeback napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jason Kokucka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
