Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicky Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Therman Goodson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goodson has chosen The fire burns by killswitch engage as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Nicky Sullivan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nicky Sullivan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sullivan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sullivan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sullivan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Goodson looks a forlorn figure.
Sullivan lands a big shot there that rocks Goodson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Goodson is bucking up trying to escape but Sullivan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Sullivan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goodson on the ground.

Goodson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sullivan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Goodson works to advance to full mount. Sullivan defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

That was a close round but I would say that Nicky Sullivan will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Goodson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Sullivan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Goodson yanks on the arm and Sullivan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Goodson.
