Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Qua Hittoe !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mocassins gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hittoe to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Hittoe has gone for a leg lock! Mocassins slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hittoe 's guard.
Mocassins loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mocassins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hittoe works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mocassins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hittoe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mocassins is working hard here to advance position.

Mocassins lands a couple of elbows.
Mocassins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hittoe works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mocassins looking to sit in guard and control but Hittoe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hittoe drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mocassins looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mocassins looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mocassins!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mocassins working the ground and pound but Hittoe is defending the strikes.
Mocassins fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hittoe is trying to get back to half guard.
Mocassins postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The referee asks Mocassins politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mocassins prefers to stall for the moment though.

Mocassins is working to tighten is grip on Hittoe 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hittoe has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mocassins is really squeezing tight and eventually Hittoe passes out! Mocassins breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
