PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taras Salo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bratuha Pacanchika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salo comes into the arena with Tol-Odinochestvo blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bratuha Pacanchika was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pacanchika closes the distance and clinches.
Pacanchika wants a takedown.
Pacanchika has had enough of the clinch but Salo keeps him there for the moment.
Salo misses with an elbow strike.
Pacanchika lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Salo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pacanchika's efforts to push away.
A head punch on the inside from Salo fails to land.
Pacanchika misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pacanchika wants to break the clinch but can't.
Salo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pacanchika or not.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pacanchika breaks the clinch.
Salo throws a right and a left that Pacanchika avoids nicely.
Salo misses with a double jab.
Salo stuffs the takedown attempt from Pacanchika. Pacanchika gets slowly back to his feet.
Pacanchika slips a jab and a cross from Salo.

Salo drops Pacanchika with a beautiful combination! Pacanchika stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Salo is looking for the KO!

Pacanchika is rocked!

It looks like Bratuha Pacanchika has been cut.

Salo has closed the distance and engaged Pacanchika in a clinch.

Pacanchika tries for a takedown but Salo manages to get underhooks.
Pacanchika seems to have recovered his senses.
Taras Salo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bratuha Pacanchika.
Pacanchika looks gassed!
Salo creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Pacanchika's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Pacanchika drops to his knees and Salo pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
