The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Darby misses with a straight left.
Nitro keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from O Darby.
O Darby throws a jab but it's blocked by Nitro.
O Darby looks to throw the jab but Nitro is out of range.
O Darby connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Max Nitro has been cut.
O Darby jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nitro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
O Darby throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
O Darby circles away from the clinch attempt.
O Darby takes one to the side of the head.
O Darby tries to land a front kick but Nitro steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nitro steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Darby.
Nitro looks for a takedown but O Darby sprawls well.
Nitro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as O Darby throws out the jab.
O Darby is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nitro.
Nitro tries to close the distance and clinch but O Darby swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nitro is looking to clinch but O Darby is avoiding it.

Nitro doesn't manage to clinch there - O Darby circles away.
Nitro tries to score a power double leg takedown but O Darby sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nitro somewhat.

Nitro darts in and clinches O Darby up against the cage.

Nitro takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nitro stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Nitro lands a jab to the nose.

Nitro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
O Darby takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

O Darby looks to land a right hand but Nitro moved out of range.
Nitro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by O Darby.
O Darby throws a lazy right hand but Nitro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The fighters circling - O Darby throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
O Darby throws a hook to the side of Nitro's head but Nitro sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

O Darby cracks Nitro with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nitro tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but O Darby pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nitro is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
