Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Diego Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Beatles - Get Back. Diego Martinez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Martinez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jackson.
Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Martinez shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martinez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Diego Martinez will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Martinez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jackson defends it easily.

Dylan Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Martinez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Martinez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Martinez tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.
Martinez closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Martinez pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Martinez or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad.

Jackson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Martinez gets through Jackson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Martinez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Martinez.

Jackson stands and steps away. Martinez gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Dylan Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
