The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rivera misses with a double jab.
Carter closes this distance looking for a takedown but rivera circles away.
Carter looks for a takedown but rivera sprawls well.
Good standup being displayed there by Carter as he connects with a hook.
Carter fails with a takedown attempt.

Carter forces rivera back against the cage and clinches.

Carter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Carter decides to stand and escape the position.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Carter looks to land a left hand but rivera moved out of range nicely.
rivera tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from rivera.
Carter slips under a jab from rivera.
rivera uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carter.

Carter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Carter shoots in and drives through. rivera sprawls well.
rivera fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Carter is rocked!

rivera connects with a superb combination that knocks Carter out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles rivera before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Carter!
