Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Takahoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew Clarke will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshi Takahoshi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Clarke!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clarke shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Takahoshi looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Clarke works over Takahoshi with some ground and pound from guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Clarke can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Clarke postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Takahoshi looks a forlorn figure.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clarke accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
