PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jayne Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akio Tomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cobb might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Hero of Canton. Tomi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rising Empire. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomi is looking to land body kicks.
Tomi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cobb swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cobb scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tomi doesn't seem bothered though.
Cobb's corner calls for a 1-2. Cobb obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Tomi misses with a head kick.

Cobb tries to keep at a distance but Tomi has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tomi tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cobb avoids it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cobb is leaning against Tomi and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Cobb breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Cobb closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Tomi! Cobb dives in looking to finish! Tomi is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
