Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Hammett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammett comes into a darkened arena with his song building. For Whom The Bell Tolls kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a few strikes there.

Hammett is looking to land body kicks.
Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hammett moves away.
Silva throws a hook to the side of Hammett's head but Hammett sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Silva. That's going to slow Hammett down.

Hammett drops his hands momentarily and Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Hammett goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hammett but great work by Silva.
Hammett has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
