The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tarlic bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dille is trying to control Tarlic's posture but Tarlic avoids it.
Tarlic cracks Dille with a big right hand but Dille just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Tarlic looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dille is avoiding damage well.
Tarlic connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dille some visible discomfort.

Dille escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tarlic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dille has his foot on Tarlic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tarlic works his way back into a safe position though.

Dille has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tarlic is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dille.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dille misses with an uppercut. Tarlic saw that one coming.

Tarlic is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dille has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dille!

Dille drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tarlic manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dille has Tarlic in his guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
You can see the frustration on Dille's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
