Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Trill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Vodkastov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trill kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is They Will Kill Us All - The Bronx. Vodkastov has chosen "Zombie"- The Cranberries as his entrance music. The key to victory for Andrew Trill has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Vodkastov!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vodkastov moves away from the strike by Trill.
Vodkastov staying out of range there.
Trill throws a hook but Vodkastov avoids it easily.
Trill throws an overhand right that lands on Vodkastov's shoulder, as Vodkastov tries to avoid the shot.
Vodkastov blocks a jab.
Trill throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Trill loads up on a big right hand but Vodkastov slips the punch.

Vodkastov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Trill missing with a left hand there. Vodkastov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Vodkastov thuds his right hand into Trill's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Vodkastov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Trill looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Trill is looking to regain half guard here but Vodkastov keeps moving and retains side control.

Vodkastov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Trill wants to control but Vodkastov postures up.
Vodkastov misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Trill is looking for a sweep.

Vodkastov goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Trill has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Vodkastov but great work by Trill.

Trill throws a jab when Vodkastov was well out of range.

Vodkastov gets a clinch.
Vodkastov goes for a takedown in the clinch but Trill prevents it.
Trill gets underhooks to prevent Vodkastov's takedown attempt.
Andrew Trill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Vodkastov.

Trill blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Vodkastov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Vodkastov swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Vodkastov goes for a takedown in the clinch but Trill prevents it.
Vodkastov misses with a punch to the body.
Trill stops a takedown attempt from Vodkastov.
Trill blocks an uppercut.
Trill looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Vodkastov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Trill pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Vodkastov keeps control of Trill as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Trill is looking to break free of the clinch but Vodkastov has double underhooks.
Vodkastov has Trill pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Trill manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Vodkastov fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vladimir Vodkastov dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Trill lands a big uppercut and Vodkastov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Vodkastov looks OK. Trill waves Vodkastov back to his feet!


Vodkastov is rocked!


It looks like Vladimir Vodkastov has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vodkastov switches off momentarily and Trill cracks him with a monster right hand! Vodkastov topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Trill dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Trill!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andrew Trill!
