Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Biff Rydberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Mika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mika fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rydberg manages to avoid it.
Rydberg loads up on a big right hand but Mika slips the punch.
Rydberg smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mika lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rydberg backs up against the cage.
Mika looks to land a left hand but Rydberg moved out of range nicely.
Rydberg takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rydberg throws a right hand that Mika ducks under and follows up with a left that Mika also avoids with ease.
Rydberg lunges at Mika with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mika's hand.

It looks like Ivan Mika has been cut.
Mika will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mika throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mika throws an overhand right that lands on Rydberg's shoulder, as Rydberg tries to avoid the shot.
Rydberg throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mika swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rydberg counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Rydberg swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rydberg fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mika tests Rydberg's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rydberg throws a looping overhand right but Mika ducks down to avoid it.
Mika avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mika thows a body shot but no joy.
Mika pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rydberg slips a jab from Mika.
Rydberg catches Mika with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Rydberg lands a nice hook to Mika's body. Mika takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Mika throws a hook but Rydberg blocks it.
Rydberg takes a swing at Mika's ribcage but misses.
Mika walks into a left hand.
Mika avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mika throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rydberg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Mika is rocked!
Ivan Mika seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rydberg throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Mika stumbling backwards into the cage! Mika bounces back off the cage towards Rydberg, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Rydberg lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Rydberg celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
