Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wells drops Tyler with a right and a left! Wells comes rushing in but Tyler regains his composure and manages to keep Wells in guard.

Tyler is rocked!

It looks like Jacob Tyler has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tyler wants to stand up but Wells is controlling him.
Tyler is still in real trouble! Can Wells finish him?
Wells looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Tyler seems to have recovered his senses.
Tyler wants to get back to his feet but Wells is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Wells's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tyler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wells is controlling him.
Tyler keeping full guard, as Wells tries to pass.
Tyler is wriggling around but Wells manages to pass to half guard.
Wells is taking a breather. Tyler says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wells is trying to work for a kimura but Tyler is defending well.
Wells slows the pace down in half guard.
Wells has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wells's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Wells decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Wells throws a good cross that connects.
Wells avoids the body shot from Tyler.
Tyler just misses with a punch to the body.
Tyler swinging wildly here.
Wells scores with a nice right hand.

Wells drops Tyler with a left and a right! Oh, Tyler is hurt - Wells dives into side control looking to finish!
Tyler looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kelly Wells just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Tyler showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wells.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wells digs a good body shot into Tyler's ribs.
A combination from Tyler does no damage.
Tyler walks into a straight right hand from Wells.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wells rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wells connects with the punch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wells darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tyler misses with a double jab
and Wells counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kelly Wells seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wells lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Tyler can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Wells and Tyler drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Wells.
