The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from McDanial misses its intended target.
Lewis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McDanial sprawls well. McDanial wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lewis gets slowly back to his feet.
Kal Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McDanial lands a big uppercut and Lewis crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lewis looks OK. McDanial waves Lewis back to his feet!

McDanial connects with a superb combination that knocks Lewis out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles McDanial before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Lewis!
