The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Sparta or perhaps it was just good defense by Kang which made him look bad.

Sparta looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kang!

Sparta has hold of Kang's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kang manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sparta can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kang is looking to escape.
Kang has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Sparta has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Kang! Can he survive? No! He's out! Sparta gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
