Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Soprano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Gagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soprano comes to the cage accompanied by Got yourself a Gun. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Robert Gagner enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anthony Soprano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Gagner!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Soprano shoots in and bounces Gagner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Soprano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gagner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Soprano drops back looking for a leg! Gagner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gagner manages to kick Soprano off! Soprano jumps back into Gagner's guard.
Soprano sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gagner's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gagner is staying active underneath Soprano, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Soprano is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gagner doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Soprano.

Gagner's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Soprano can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gagner is looking to escape.

Soprano won't let Gagner get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Soprano has hold of Gagner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gagner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
