Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stelio Kantos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Player (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Player has chosen Bettie Grind - I'm Floatin' as his entrance music. Kantos has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kantos avoids the body shot from Player.
Player throws a series of punches but Kantos moves out of range.
A slow jab from Kantos misses its intended target.
Gary Player seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kantos needs to keep his hands up - Player had a free shot at his head there.
Player waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kantos.
The fighters circling - Player throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kantos swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kantos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Player ducks under a wild hook from Kantos.
Kantos works Player's body with a nice hook.
Player lands with an uppercut that bounces Kantos off the cage and back into rage.
Player scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kantos in his tracks.
Kantos takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Player displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kantos throws out the jab.

Player takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Player throws the left hand but Kantos avoids the punch easily.

Player cracks a nice hook into Kantos's ribs.
Player uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kantos.
Player displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Player throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Player ducks right into an uppercut from Kantos.
Player is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kantos.
Player bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Player ducks under a wild hook from Kantos.

Player swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kantos.
Player thows a left - swing and a miss!
Player catches Kantos with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Player throws a good cross that connects.

Player misses with the combination.
Player lands the left hand.
A nice combination there by Player.
Kantos is rocked!
Kantos displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Player throws out the jab.
Oh Kantos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Player throws a shot from downtown. Kantos moves away and avoids it.
Player is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kantos had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Kantos slips a jab from Player.

Kantos avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kantos loses concentration momentarily and Player pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Kantos crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Player finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
