The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero wants to clinch.
Pedro Romero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guy connects with a nice looking jab.
Romero tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Guy paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Romero fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Guy, pushing him back against the cage.
Romero lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Guy backwards.
Guy working hard to break the clinch.
Guy takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Big Guy has been cut.

Romero's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Romero connects with a nasty looking knee right to Guy's face.
Guy trying to control the position but instead, Romero has worked for underhooks and has pushed Guy into the cage.

Romero breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Romero dodges the punch combination from Guy.
Guy throws a right and a left that Romero avoids nicely.
Romero is looking to clinch.

Romero clinches.

Romero scores with a nice hook to the head.
Romero lands a nice uppercut.

Romero drops Guy with a big knee straight up the middle! Guy is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Romero rushes Guy and presses him up against the cage.
Guy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Guy wants to get back to striking at distance but Romero won't allow it.
Romero controlling the action here for a moment.

Romero drops Guy onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Guy is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Guy is still on wobbly legs! Can Romero finish him?
Romero lands a big right hand that drops Guy! The killer instinct kicks in and Romero finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Romero!
