Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dats Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harold Hudini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dats Silva has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dats Silva seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudini circles away from the clinch attempt.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hudini swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hudini is looking to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Silva blocks Hudini's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hudini's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hudini's back!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dats Silva.
