The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handsoncock dives in and grabs Fox's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fox pushes down on Handsoncock's head and hops out.

Handsoncock jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fox manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Handsoncock tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Handsoncock has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Handsoncock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

and Handsoncock counters with a thumping low kick.
Handsoncock throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fox's waist but Fox gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Handsoncock off to one side.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Handsoncock pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fox moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Handsoncock closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Handsoncock lands in his opponent's guard.
