Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Terrance Pingshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masashi Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pingshaw's entrance music is Heart of a Champion. A fine choice. Masashi Takeda struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masashi Takeda!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pingshaw tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Takeda was well out of range. Poor timing from Pingshaw.
Takeda's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Takeda duly obliges.
Takeda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Takeda avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pingshaw really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pingshaw bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Takeda's guard.
Takeda keeping full guard, as Pingshaw tries to pass.
Pingshaw is working hard here to advance position.
Pingshaw passes Takeda's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Pingshaw is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Takeda is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
