Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Mulligan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vern Lipton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mulligan's entrance music is Primus-- Wynonas big brown beaver. A fine choice. Lipton has chosen ??? as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mulligan looks to throw the jab but Lipton is out of range.
Mulligan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mulligan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mulligan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Mulligan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mulligan slips a nice elbow through Lipton's hands, connecting with Lipton's forehead.

Lipton is trying to stand back up but Mulligan is controlling him

Mulligan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mulligan.

Mulligan thows a body shot but no joy.
Lipton tries to bum rush Mulligan with a series of wild strikes but Mulligan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mulligan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lipton takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lipton looks gassed!
Lipton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mulligan's head backwards.
Lipton misses with a two punch combination.
Lipton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That has opened up Vern Lipton's cut even more.
A combination from Lipton does no damage.
Mulligan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lipton will feel that in the morning.
Mulligan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Mulligan scores with a hook.
Mulligan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mulligan drops Lipton with a beautiful combination! Lipton stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mulligan is looking for the KO!
Lipton throws out a loose jab but Mulligan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mulligan scores with a leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lipton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mulligan can pounce on him.
Lipton has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mulligan.
Mulligan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The cut above Vern Lipton's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Lipton takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Vern Lipton's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Mulligan cracks Lipton with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lipton looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mulligan finish him?
Lipton is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vern Lipton's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Mickey Mulligan!
