Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reuben Bet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Sr Dela Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dela Cruz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dela Cruz slaps away a takedown attempt from Bet , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Dela Cruz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bet swivels and escapes.
Bet fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Dela Cruz has closed the distance and engaged Bet in a clinch.

Bet is pressed up against the cage. Dela Cruz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bet down to the mat. Bet avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Reuben Bet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Sr Dela Cruz.

Dela Cruz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bet uses from the top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dela Cruz is looking for a sweep. Bet is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bet is trying to control the action in half guard but Dela Cruz is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Bet ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Dela Cruz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Dela Cruz counters with a nice double leg into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bet is on top in guard.
Bet slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bet has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Dela Cruz is forced to tap!
