Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dracule Mihawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Aces (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dracule Mihawk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Aces!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mihawk defending well as Aces loads up on a big left hand.
Aces lands a two punch combo.
Aces scores with a one two! Mihawk had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Aces goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Mihawk dives in and grabs Aces's left leg, looking for a takedown. Aces pushes down on Mihawk's head and hops out.
Aces will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mihawk fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mihawk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aces pinned against the cage. Aces gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dracule Mihawk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aces throws a nice looking combination but Mihawk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mark Aces is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Aces connects with a jab.
Aces connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mihawk. Mihawk circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Aces looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Aces scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Mihawk shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mihawk was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Aces wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Mihawk.

Mihawk working for a submission but Aces is keeping him at bay.
Mihawk throwing strikes here but Aces is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Mihawk throws some wild stikes that Aces manages to avoid easily.
Aces holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Mihawk tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Mihawk landing strikes from the mount and Aces is in trouble!
Aces prevents any damage by holding on tight.
Aces sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Aces wants to control but Mihawk is keeping busy.

Aces kicks off Mihawk and gets to his feet.
Mihawk is breathing heavily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Aces throws a nice looking combination but Mihawk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Aces stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Aces wants it to stay on the feet.
Aces looks to land a combination but Mihawk avoids it well.
Aces lands a glancing blow to the side of Mihawk's head.
A left and a right from Aces both land. Nice combination.
Aces's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Aces duly obliges.
Aces throws a right and a left that both miss.
No joy there for Aces, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mihawk shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Aces defends it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Aces with a hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aces lands with an uppercut that bounces Mihawk off the cage and back into rage.
Aces throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mihawk doesn't manage to clinch there - Aces circles away.
Good standup being displayed there by Aces as he connects with a hook.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mihawk drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
No joy there for Aces, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Aces dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A punch combination from Aces misses.
Aces pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Aces ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A thudding body kick lands there by Aces!
Mihawk on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Mihawk has a takedown stuffed.
Aces lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Aces.
Aces lands with a big right hook that stumbles Mihawk - he's out on his feet here! Aces follows up with another monster hook that separates Mihawk from consciousness! Mihawk falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Aces stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
