Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmidt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DMX/X gonna give it to ya. Muay Thai has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mike Schmidt's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thai drives through and clinches with Schmidt against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thai walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Schmidt checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Schmidt is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Schmidt sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Thai fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Schmidt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thai lands a big head kick that sends Schmidt tumbling to the mat! Thai takes a step backwards and waves Schmidt back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Schmidt is rocked!

It looks like Mike Schmidt has been cut.
Look low, kick high! Thai uses the oldest trick in the book to send Schmidt tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Thai is absolutely delighted - when Schmidt wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
