The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malik doesn't manage to clinch there - Seibold circles away.
Malik throws a nice looking combination but Seibold bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

It looks like Sam Malik has been cut.
Malik gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Malik clinches up with Seibold and pushes him back against the ropes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Seibold has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Malik regains guard immediately.
Seibold throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Malik works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Seibold accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Seibold postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Malik covers up, he's hurt! Seibold keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Seibold and the ref steps in to end the fight! Seibold can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
