Paul has chosen Lamb of God-Omerta as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A head kick misses from Paul.
Paul swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Paul staying out of range there.
Paul lands a jab.

It looks like Rekord Nadoev has been cut.
Paul throws a quick inside leg kick.
Paul cracks the inside of Nadoev's front leg.
Rekord Nadoev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paul throws a shot from downtown. Nadoev moves away and avoids it.
Paul moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Nadoev is breathing heavily.
Nadoev blocks a head kick by Paul.
No joy there for Paul, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Paul fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nadoev, pushing him back against the cage.

Paul buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Paul doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Nadoev blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Paul scores with a hook to the body.

Paul manages to break the clinch.
A big left from Nadoev misses.
Paul throws a right and a left that both miss.

Paul throws out a powerful jab.
Paul throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Paul lands a left and a right that send Nadoev crashing to the mat, dazed. Paul thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Paul fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nadoev.

Paul drops Nadoev with a beautiful combination! Nadoev stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Paul is looking for the KO!

Rekord Nadoev's cut is getting worse.
Nadoev tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Paul throws a nice inside leg kick.

Paul rushes Nadoev and presses him up against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Paul lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Rekord Nadoev's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Paul throws a punch but it's blocked by Nadoev.
Paul works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Paul pushes Nadoev back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Paul scores with a nice short uppercut.

Paul breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nadoev is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Nadoev moves out of range of the body kick from Paul.
Nadoev pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Paul thumps Nadoev with a low kick.
A left lands for Paul.
Paul feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Nadoev crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
