The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepherd fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Smith is out of range.
Smith lands with a nice body punch.
Shepherd avoids the body shot from Smith.
Shepherd attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Smith closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Smith avoids a kick to the body.
A lazy left from Shepherd finds it's target.

It looks like Austin Smith has been cut.
Shepherd uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smith.
Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by Shepherd.
Shepherd bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A big right from Smith misses.
Smith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Shepherd.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Shepherd scores with a nice body kick.

Shepherd lands a big head kick that sends Smith tumbling to the mat! Shepherd takes a step backwards and waves Smith back to his feet - he wants the finish!

A head kick by Shepherd - that's a beauty! Smith is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Shepherd can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
