Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dirty Bumb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Jorge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My life be like kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fernando Jorge acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bumb moves in looking to clinch but Jorge pushes him off.

Jorge tries to pull guard but Bumb holds him up against the cage and eventually Jorge drops back down to his feet.
Bumb pushes off an throws an elbow but Jorge leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Jorge's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Bumb breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bumb's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bumb shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jorge as he jumps to the side.

Jorge drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jorge stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bumb swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Bumb is breathing heavily.

Bumb can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jorge controls the pace.
Jorge stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bumb swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jorge gets to his feet. Bumb looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jorge drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jorge wants to control from the top but Bumb keeps moving.

and Jorge counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bumb's guard now.
Jorge working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bumb wants to control but Jorge passes easily into half guard.

Bumb is staying active underneath Jorge, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Jorge working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Bumb looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Jorge! Submission of the night perhaps?
