Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Piston Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JeanPierre Kusela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kusela is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Paradise Lost - Small Town Boy. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Honda moves in looking to clinch but Kusela pushes him off.

Kusela creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Honda sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Honda is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kusela has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Honda avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kusela.
Kusela is looking to take a break and control but Honda is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kusela has control of Honda's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Honda regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Honda lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kusela has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kusela and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
