Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chan Sung Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksandr Fedorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aleksandr Fedorov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jung throws a front kick aimed at Fedorov's knee but Fedorov avoids it well.
Nice straight punches there by Jung. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jung.
Jung throws a solid leg kick but Fedorov takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jung.
Jung rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fedorov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fedorov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jung is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Fedorov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Jung misses with a few strikes there.

Jung gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fedorov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Fedorov wants to get up but he can't break Jung's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Fedorov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jung swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fedorov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Fedorov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jung looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jung really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jung is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fedorov asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Fedorov decides to stand back up. Fedorov steps back and let's Jung get back to his feet.

Jung gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Fedorov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fedorov shoots for a takedown but Jung saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jung lands a glancing blow to the side of Fedorov's head.
Jung misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jung scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nice straight punches there by Jung. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jung.
Jung cracks Fedorov with an open hand slap.
Fedorov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jung circles away.
Jung swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Jung connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fedorov's hands.
Jung lands with a nice combination. Fedorov backs away looking to recover.
Jung throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fedorov.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jung.

Jung is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Fedorov throws a head kick that misses.

Fedorov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Fedorov wants to free his trapped foot but Jung is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Fedorov seems to be looking for submissions.
Jung wants to get back to his feet.

Fedorov wants to stand but Jung has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Fedorov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jung sees it coming and defends easily.
Jung is trying to stand.
Jung won't allow Fedorov to pass to mount.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jung throws a series of strikes that have Fedorov backpedaling.
Jung is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Fedorov takes one to the chin there.
Fedorov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jung sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Chan Sung Jung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aleksandr Fedorov.
Fedorov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jung swivels and escapes.
Fedorov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jung.
Jung cracks Fedorov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A head kick misses from Jung.
Jung lands a front kick.
Fedorov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jung tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fedorov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jung, right into the meat.
Jung throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chan Sung Jung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A lazy left from Jung finds it's target.
A punch combination from Jung misses.
Fedorov blocks a head kick by Jung.

Fedorov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jung pushes Fedorov off looking to stand but Fedorov dives back in and keeps control.

Jung looks like he's trying to stand up.
Still in half guard, Fedorov seems content to control.

Fedorov is looking to take a break and control but Jung is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jung plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Jung scores with a one two! Fedorov had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Fedorov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jung wants to get back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Aleksandr Fedorov.
I think Fedorov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
