Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Henson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, All That Remains - Focus Shall Not Fail . Donald Henson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boyka swivels and escapes.
Boyka ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Henson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boyka was well out of range. Poor timing from Henson.

Henson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Boyka has picked Henson up and slammed him! Henson can't keep hold of the triangle and Boyka manages to pass to side control!

Boyka remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Boyka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Henson on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boyka works his foot free and advances to mount.

Henson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Henson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Boyka wanted to stand there but Henson had control of the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Henson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A lazy left from Henson finds it's target.

It looks like Uri Boyka has been cut.
Boyka misses with a low kick.
Henson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Boyka counters with a nice double leg into side control. Henson won't be happy with that.
Boyka is looking to take a break and control but Henson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Henson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Boyka off and has taken his back!

Boyka darts in and clinches Henson up against the cage.

Henson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Boyka can't fight it off and eventually Henson manages to take the fight to the floor. Boyka looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Henson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Uri Boyka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Henson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Boyka is surviving well by controlling Henson's body position as best he can.

Henson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Boyka stacks Henson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Boyka!

Boyka tries to work over Henson's front leg with a kick but Henson checks it.

Boyka has taken the fight to the clinch.

Boyka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Henson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Boyka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Henson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Boyka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Henson has Boyka in his guard.

Henson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boyka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boyka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
