Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Kiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglass James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Douglass James will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
James looks gassed!
Kiel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says James as he avoids it easily.
Kiel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Kiel takes the fight into the clinch.
James throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kiel blocks it with crossed arms.
Kiel has James pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kiel pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending James tumbling to the mat - Kiel dives into James's guard.

James wants to get back to his feet but Kiel drags him back down.
James tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kiel lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear James down.
Kiel tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
James manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Kiel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of James's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take James's back!

Kiel is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. James has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kiel has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! James taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kiel doesn't care though - he's delighted!
