Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smart's waist but Smart gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Farro off to one side.
Smart shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Farro defends it nicely.
Smart is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Farro's half guard.

Farro is looking to control Smart's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Farro avoid being mounted?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Farro fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Smart on the side of the head.
Maxwell Smart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smart throws a nice looking combination but Farro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Farro buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Smart lands the left hand.
Farro feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Smart doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Farro slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Smart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Farro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Farro is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Farro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smart's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smart's back!
Smart tries to roll but Farro sticks to his back.

Farro lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Smart breaks Farro's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Smart must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Smart drops back looking for a leg! Farro is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Farro manages to kick Smart off! Smart jumps back into Farro's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Farro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Smart is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Farro sees it coming and defends easily.

A close round but Maxwell Smart will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Farro shoots in looking for a takedown. Smart tries to sprawl out of it but Farro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smart manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Smart doesn't manage to clinch there - Farro circles away.

and Farro counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Smart closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Farro to the mat! Farro manages to get full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Smart gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Farro counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Smart shoots in and bounces Farro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Farro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Smart's guard.
Farro stands up over Smart, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Farro distracts Smart with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Smart is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Smart looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Farro is defending well. Smart quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Farro has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Smart celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
