The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vargas throws a head kick that misses.
Arlovski blocks a head kick by Vargas.
Arlovski scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Vargas tries to clinch up but Arlovski circles away and keeps his distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vargas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Arlovski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vargas did well to prevent Arlovski getting side control.

Arlovski changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vargas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Arlovski has an Americana. Vargas didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Arlovski is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Arlovski hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
