The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haitarila drops Thates with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Thates looks back up at him and smiles so Haitarila waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Thates is rocked!

It looks like Raphael Thates has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thates shoots for a double leg takedown but Haitarila sprawls well. He's pushed Thates's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Thates is still on wobbly legs! Can Haitarila finish him?

Haitarila connects with a superb combination that knocks Thates out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Haitarila before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Thates!
