Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Escarino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escarino has chosen RATM-- Guerrilla Radio as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Grant is looking to clinch but Escarino is avoiding it.
Escarino tries to clinch up.
Escarino darts in and clinches Grant up against the cage.
Grant pushes Escarino back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Grant lands a body shot in the clinch.
Grant is trying to break the clinch but Escarino is controlling him.

Escarino has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Grant tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Escarino's elbow.

Escarino breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Escarino throws a front kick aimed at Grant's knee but Grant avoids it well.
Escarino misses with a straight left.
Escarino connects with a solid leg kick.
A slow jab from Grant misses its intended target.

and Grant counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Grant fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Escarino jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Escarino uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Escarino is looking to clinch.
Escarino tries to clinch up.
Escarino throws a lazy right hand but Grant sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Grant, as that shot connected.
Escarino keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Escarino wants to clinch up but Grant keeps it at a distance.
Grant tries to clinch there but Escarino circles away.
Nice straight punches there by Grant. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Grant.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Grant throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Grant drops Escarino with a beautiful combination! Escarino stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Grant is looking for the KO!
Escarino is rocked!

and Grant counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Escarino! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Grant!
