The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perqelez tries to clinch up but Minerals circles away and keeps his distance.

and Perqelez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Minerals's guard.
Minerals wants to stand but Perqelez is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Perqelez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Minerals!
Perqelez wants to control the pace but Minerals is squirming around nicely.
Minerals is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Perqelez trying to control but Minerals is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perqelez unloads with some shots from mount but Minerals bucks and avoids them well.

Minerals wants to try and get back to his feet.

Perqelez is working for a guillotine from mount but Minerals frees his head quite easily.
Minerals is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Perqelez has hold of Minerals's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Minerals manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Perqelez looks gassed!
Minerals tries to buck Perqelez off but he can't manage it.
Minerals trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

and Minerals counters with a left to the body.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Minerals creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Minerals has Perqelez pressed against the cage, preventing Perqelez from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Minerals.
Minerals creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Perqelez with a big uppercut! Perqelez tries to clinch up but Minerals pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Perqelez to the mat! Perqelez covers up and Minerals unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
