PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Syndey Nevil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nevil comes to the cage accompanied by Silent Coming. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevil fails with the takedown.

Long shoots in and bounces Nevil off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Syndey Nevil will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Long shoots in looking for a takedown. Nevil tries to sprawl out of it but Long keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nevil manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
