PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Titus Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Araujo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glover comes to the cage accompanied by I stand alone. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glover misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Araujo scores a takedown into full mount!

Araujo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Glover is wriggling around trying to escape.
Araujo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Glover looks a forlorn figure.
Glover is trying desperately to improve position.
Araujo trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Araujo is working for a guillotine from mount but Glover frees his head quite easily.

Araujo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Glover turns into him and now he's in Araujo's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Glover wants to stand but Glover is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Araujo.
Glover shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Araujo pinned against the cage. Araujo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fernando Araujo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Araujo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Araujo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Araujo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Glover but Glover pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Araujo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Glover's guard.

Araujo tries to improve his position but Glover has taken his back! Glover has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Araujo tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Glover Pushes Araujo away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
